Let’s keep the suspense for now, but we will say this – if you’ve been following some A-listers who’ve recently updated their looks (and their locks) – you probably have a clue.

This summer at the Met Gala, many celebrities arrived with a short and sweet surprise – their haircut. The short bobs caught fashion and beauty journalist’s attention. It felt like a collective gesture, channeling the gala’s longstanding (11 years!) chairperson and Vogue editrix Anna Wintour. It was also a fashion compass moment.
Michelle Williams’ cut was unanimously voted as most coveted:
Do you spot the current take on the timeless Wintour look? Can you see the playfulness? It seems even Ms. Wintour herself enjoyed it (and you know that’s no easy feat).
But Williams wasn’t alone.
This short-short bob, isn’t that pretty much the same cut our mothers had in their ’90s sheitels?
It’s refreshing how suddenly the grandma look becomes hip again.
All you need for this makeover is a bit more freedom and courage with the scissors, a braver cut. Good thing our BK teem is an expert at that (a virtuoso if we do say so ourselves).
And voila: Your bob is ready. Blow dry and straighten for a classical, festive and elegant look (with a playful touch!). Crease and create beach waves for a sophisticated, young, and lighthearted look – there’s nothing more 2016 than this.

Just make sure that the tips are playfully brushed and that there’s some sort of interest in the highlights, to draw attention to the beautiful lines of this cut:
