When you think of perfection, what do you see?
Imagine the perfect sheitel, a wig in which every single hair strand is coiffed to perfection, not moving from its designated, styled, place. Perfect?!
-Too perfect!
In our opinion, a perfect wig is imperfect.
It’s heavy, it’s old, it’s dowdy, it doesn’t react to wind or to your personality. Hey, we’re talking about hair, not sculptures!
So maybe… perhaps… Perfect is actually imperfect?
Interesting point, right?
Imagine the perfect red apple, you know – one you’d see at a luxury hotel bar. Now get closer to it, inspect it. It’s never a %100 red. It will always have some brown and yellow strokes combined naturally like strokes of art in its texture. The waiter even left a piece of its branch hanging, maybe even a stray leaf, dark and dry. But oh… What an apple!
Imagine if it were completely red, a polished, solid red. Imagine if the leaf were a glossy bright green. You wouldn’t even want to touch it, right? You’d know right away that it’s plastic. Too perfect to be true.
Too perfect – it’s never interesting.
It’s plastic. It’s fake.
Because that’s how Hashem created our world — alive, breathing, ever changing.
Perfectly imperfect feels the truest, the most natural.
And here at BK, when we create a wig – we strive to imitate this very naturally imperfect perfection.
Remember that friend of yours, the one with the perfect hair? You’d come back from a day out hiking and her hair – however messy – would just jump into order at a touch of her hand. It even seemed as if the wind and the sun and the sand added to its liveliness. And maybe you were lucky enough to have such hair? Hair that doesn’t frizz when you go to the beach, but rather dries naturally into a gorgeous, beachy look that makes you look happy and relaxed…
That’s exactly what we do. We find you the perfectly imperfect hair. Hair that doesn’t get hurt from a moment in the sun, that doesn’t frizz or dry. Hair that moves with you. Hair that will make you want to touch it and say “Oh, that hair…”
BK wigs are created from the best possibly available hair. Available – that’s a key word. Because of our high standards, we simply don’t make a wig if the available hair isn’t good enough. We’ll never make a wig that isn’t up to our quality hair standards, even if that means producing less wigs sometimes.
And when hair is real, it doesn’t look like a sculpture. Sometimes, a strand of hair will stay just there, and sometimes it will move to the side. Sometimes, humodity will make it stick just a bit. But how beautifully natural, how sweet and charming does it look! Because that’s exactly how your school friend’s perfect hair looked and reacted at the beach. How perfect that your wig reacts the same way.
This is what makes a perfect wig, in our opinion. Go on a cruise and it will get its true, romantic look. Its messy, fun, young personality will shine through. A wave here and there, a sticky strand – this is what makes it so naturally perfect. So you.
